Un concours des projets de start-up béninoises a sanctionné la phase finale de la semaine numérique lancée depuis le 22 Novembre au Bénin et qui a drainé tout le gratin national et international du secteur. Au cœur de ce rendez-vous qui met le Bénin en orbite et qui témoigne de la volonté du gouvernement de réussir la révolution numérique enclenchée depuis son avènement CERCO_BÉNIN se distingue avec brio et vient en tête en remportant sur trois, deux des prix au cours de la soirée de gala organisée à cet effet.
Venceslas KANONTIN, Ancien étudiant de CERCO BÉNIN remporte le 1er prix par la startup C2I . Son Projet dénommé PRECIS AGRI propose une solution d’irrigation automatique commandée à distance via une application mobile avec la possibilité de paramétrer les heures d’irrigation pour l’automatisation. L’irrigation peut aussi être déclenchée par la voix.
Le 3ème prix a été remporté par l’étudiant de CERCO BÉNIN , Sylvestre AHOUISSOU avec un projet agricole ayant nom ÉPOUVANTAIL CONNECTÉ. Au rang des meilleurs étudiants de l’institut, celui qui prend le troisième prix pour le compte de ce concours entend solutionner de façon pratique un problème réel et vieux depuis des lustres auquel se confronte presque tout agriculteur en AFRIQUE. Par son application il s’engage dans la lutte contre les animaux ravageurs dans les plantations agricoles. Il s’agit d’un épouvantail intégrant des capteurs de détection des oiseaux survolant les plantations agricoles et des rongeurs au sol puis un dispositif et de répulsion des animaux ravageurs par l’émission d’ultrasons. Une application connectée à l’épouvantail permet de recevoir des données sur les fréquences de détection des animaux ravageurs permettant à l’agriculteur de mettre en œuvre, au besoin, des mesures offensives efficaces contre ces animaux.
Il est à noter que ces prix sont la suite d’une série pour le compte de l’année 2018, 14 ème et 15 ème prix de l’année 2018 du Groupe Cerco.
