La nouvelle qui était sous peu une rumeur est finalement devenue une clameur. Les consommateurs des produits des différents réseaux GSM du Bénin dirons nous, seront bientôt dans une situation cauchemardesque.
Le coût des appels téléphoniques et du forfait internet, connaîtra sous peu une augmentation qui n’arrangera point les portefeuilles. Annoncé depuis le début du mois d’août, dame rumeurs semble devenir une évidence. Si pour le moment, aucun communiqué radio diffusé n’a donné l’information de façon officielle, le document qui circule sur les plateformes sociales semblent l’a confirmée à travers celui N°1587/ARCEP/SE/DAJRC/DRI/DMP/SC/GU/2018 en date du 22 Août 2018. L’Autorité de Régulation des Communications Électriques et de la Poste (ARCEP BENIN) dans une réponse référencée et signée par son secrétaire exécutif Hervé Coovi GUEDEGBE et adressée au réseau Maroc Télécom (MOOV) a pris acte des conditions de vente des offres: forfait Mixtes journaliers & Hebdomadaires; Moov Maxi et du forfait internet volume et donne un avis favorable pour leur exécution.
Selon les informations du document, une différence sera désormais faite entre FORFAIT INTERNET SANS RÉSEAUX SOCIAUX et FORFAIT INTERNET AVEC RÉSEAUX SOCIAUX qui accordent différents volumes pour le même coût.
L’objectif est claire détourner l’attention de certains béninois qui passent plus de temps sur internet, notamment sur facebook et wathsap. Selon les propos du ministre de l’économie Romuald WADAGNI, il faut encourager ceux qui ont réellement besoin d’Internet dans leur travail. « Comme nous savons que ceux qui l’utilisent pour jouer vont nous donner assez de ressources, nous allons les utiliser pour baisser le coût en faveur de ceux qui ont besoin de la connexion pour travailler ». Le message est donc claire, il faut mettre le béninois au travail plutôt qu’au divertissement. Pour le ministre, il faut taxer les utilisateurs oisifs, qui ne téléchargent que des films et de la musique et ceux qui font des transferts << d’images qui critiquent le gouvernement et qui critiquent vos amis>> a-t-il ajouté.
Si ces nouvelles dispositions ne sont pas encore appliquées, il faut s’y attendre d’ici peu de jours. Il faut se préparer alors pour serrer davantage les ceintures afin d’économiser de l’argent pour activer le forfait internet avec réseau sociaux.
