Lors du panel scientifique du CiAAF portant sur la thème « LA CEDEAO ET LA CRISE NIGÉRIENNE », le Dr. Célestin Alexis AGBESSI, analyste politique béninois a sans détour dit son indignation face à l’attitude du chef de l’État au sujet de la crise au Niger.
La jeunesse de l’Afrique francophone a compris et a pris conscience qu’elle est un élément important qui a son mot à dire dans les programmes et politiques internes des nations.

Il a expliqué entre autres ce qui pourrait justifier la réaction encourageante des nigériens suite au coup d'État perpétré par la junte au pouvoir. La jeunesse de l’Afrique francophone a compris et « a pris conscience qu’elle est un élément important qui a son mot à dire » dans les programmes et politiques internes des nations. Mais l’une des choses que désapprouvent l’analyste, et qu’il nomme les » constituants du citoyen africain francophone » c’est la « mauvaise gouvernance » et cette attitude ambiguë du Chef de l’État beninois qui détonne . À l’en croire depuis 2016, Patrice TALON n’a pas marché sur les sentiers des principes démocratiques pour se livrer à un tel exercice au sujet de la crise au Niger. » Il est exotique… et assez intéressant de voir le Président Patrice TALON, qui a l’intérieur de son propre champ institutionnel (…) depuis 2016 a bâillonné l’opposition d’une manière ou d’une autre, mis des postulants à la présidence en prison et dénaturé les institutions » dans un rôle de défenseur de la démocratie. L’analyste dit ne pas approuver cela et parle d’un paradoxe que Patrice TALON se mette « en avant pour défendre la démocratie au Niger « . « C’est ce que la jeunesse africaine reproche à nos chefs » a martelé le Dr. Célestin Alexis AGBESSI. Pour lui, Patrice TALON serait donc dans un mauvais rôle.
Il condamne tout de même le coup d'État survenu et explique qu'il n'est en aucun cas indispensable pour la survie d'une nation.©#ReporterBéninMonde
