CHINE: Sans passeport depuis 6 mois les étudiants en Chine appelent Patrice Talon au secours
Les étudiants béninois en chine vivent une terrible situation depuis bientôt 6 mois. Une situation dont ils ne connaissent pas encore l’issue, leurs adresses en direction de l’autorité étant resté jusqu’à ce jour sans suite favorable
La suspension de la production de passeports courant février 2021 a induit la suspension du renouvellement de ce document de voyage par l’ambassade du Bénin en Chine
Conséquence, plusieurs étudiants ayant vu leurs passeports expirés n’ont pas pu le renouveler. Sans passeports, difficile pour eux d’accéder aux services sociaux, de percevoir de l’argent sur leur compte et même de circuler en Chine. Les laissez-passer délivré par l’Ambassade comme palliatifs sont bien loins de résoudre la situation qui a duré maintenant 6 mois. Ne sachant plus quoi faire, après les nombreux échanges avec l’Ambassade du Bénin en Chine, les nombreux étudiants concernés se sont constitué en un creuset. C’est ainsi que le Collectif des Étudiants Béninois en Chine à Passeports Expirés (CEPE) est né. Ce collectif ayant pour principale mission de faire entendre raison aux autorités et de leur faire part des difficultés de ces étudiants sans passeports en chine, un premier courrier a été envoyé au ministère des Affaires Étrangères afin qu’il leur vienne à la rescousse. Nous étions le 4 juin 2021. Sans suite, le collectif a également introduit un deuxième courrier également sans suite à ce jour. Ne comprenant plus rien, les difficultés grandissant et vivant dans un cauchemar qui ne dit pas son nom, ces étudiants réunis en (CEPE), Collectif des Étudiants Béninois en Chine à Passeports Expirés (CEPE) s’en remettent au Président Talon. Ils appelent le Président de la République à se pencher sur la question afin d’étudier et d’apporter une solution adéquate au cas des Étudiants en Chine dont les passeports sont venus à expiration. L’établissement de nouvelles etant bloqué depuis bientôt 6 mois
